The Man Trip

So for the past two weeks I have been on a "Man Trip" with my brother,his two sons, and Myles. It really has been a lot of fun. We drove from Othello down to San Antonio Texas to bring Brandon a piano. We also put in a laminate hardwood floor in his kitchen, entry way and bathroom. Today (our last day here) we went to Sea World for Bodies birthday. It was a lot of fun, Myles had a blast. I have decided to tell the story through pictures.

My sister Liz is opening up a new web store for her maternity clothing line called fly belly...very exciting. She asked me if I would mind posing for some pictures for it. She hired an awesome photographer. This is me at 30ish weeks prego. I am glad I have pictures to remind me of this time in my life, as well as helping my sis out. We also snuck in some family pictures...love them!!!

Stupid *** Kid!

So it has been way too long since our last post. We really have been very busy, especially in July. We had a very interesting thing happen tonight, Jenny and I were sitting down watching a stupid movie called Neptune's Daughter (has nothing to do with mythology) when there's a loud thumping on our back door. I grab a knife (closest weapon I had; Yes I always take a weapon with me to my door at night considering the neighborhood I live in)and go answer it. There's a lady who only says "The Dumpster by your house is on fire!" HUH!?! RUN THAT PAST ME AGAIN!?! So yes, some unimaginably stupid kid decided it would be fun to light the dumpster by our house on fire...oh and by the way that damn dumpster is only about 10 feet from my freaking house! I run out and sure enough flames filling the sky about 10 feet high, heat permeating around the scorching steel receptacle. I do what I have always been told not to do if your house/property is on fire...I got my trusty garden hose and began shooting the plastic lid of the dumpster to keep those flames from hitting my rain gutters and siding keeping the fire from burning down my house. The lady who banged on our door was on the line with 911 so it only took a few minutes for them to get there which was nice. Here are the aftermath pics.


They filled the dumpster about half way or more with water before they left.

Its officially......

a girl!!!!!!!!!!!!
We couldn't be happier. I knew before I concieved that there would be another girl in our family. Only Scott believed me when we got prego that I knew that it was a girl. Kind of funny. I went in for my ultrasound yesterday to confirm our "suspicions"...and yup there she was. Yesterday was also our last birth defect ultrasound. Everything looked great. PHEWWWW. Its so nerve racking knowing that I am so high risk for those sorts of things. I am thankful that the lord has looked after this little girl and me. Im half way done. only 20 more weeks to go!

Edward Babak, This one's for you

So I got this interesting text message to night from a number I did not recognize.
Here is how it went.
"Hi"
"Who is This?"
"Edward"
"As in Cullen?"
"lol no Edward Babak"
"Well Edward Babak, I'm sorry you have the wrong number."
"who is this?"
-I do not respond-
He sends this

"Stellar Aviator glasses, my wife thinks they are adorable and thinks we should get a pair for our grandson."
"Is this Rosa?"
"Sorry kid, I don't even know a Rosa, have a good evening."
"Sorry, I got the wrong number."

All I have to say is I hope Rosa is everything Edward Babak is looking for and I hope he finds her. Thanks for some good laughs Edward!

Swiper no Swiping

So this morning Myles was watching Dora while I was making breakfast. Swiper was sneaking up to steal something like he does, the advice from Dora was "If you see swiper, say swiper!" Boots says," Yeah, There's swiper," to which myles yells, "SHOOT HIM!"

Random happenings at the Ritchie household

I have a lot of pictures here that need to be posted. I am kind of behind...so bare with me please. Here is a random picture post of things that have been happening here lately...
Hazel turned 6 on Feb. 27th. She had Shannon her cousin over for a sleepover. They decorated their own cupcakes, sang happy birthday and did heavy heavy hang over for the gifts...too fun.





Megan turned 8 on March 6. I can't believe she is 8!! She prayed and decided to be baptized on March 27th. She has grown up so fast. She had two friends over for the night. Cameron and Kayla her best friends in the whole world.





Megans baptism. Meg was baptized by her dad. Her Uncle Jared and Uncle Curt gave talks and Her nana Kae and Grandma Reeder said the prayers. Her papa Dan and Grandpa Reeder were the witneses. After we went to ice cream to celebrate.






Myles turned 3 March 16th. He loves guns and Diego and thats what he got. He is such a guy. ")

I don't have many pictures of Courtney to post "( but her birthday is in May. So there will be a ton then. She will be 10 YEARS OLD!! I'm beginning to feel old. This is her and her cousin Molly.

Anyhoo...we are all staying super busy with life. Things here are good and hopefully I won't get so behind next time. Whew!
