Oops I did it again...

Yep you guessed it, #5 is on the way .... due December 5, 2008. This came as quite a suprise to us as we were doing everything to prevent this from happening (blasted Scott and his super sperm!) I have come to terms with the fact that this little one just really is supposed to be in our family. I have already met with my doctor (who kind of looked at me in disbelief) and had an ultrasound. The girls are really excited. I showed them the ultrasound pic, Megan's responded "Soooo it has no body, just a head?" Hazel has decided that if it's a girl we should name her Ariel or Barbie, and if it's a boy it will be Prince Eric. The girls are too funny and so excited. I am thankful for our family and I am getting excited for this new one to join the zoo already in progress!!

What did you say???

This whole week I haven't been feeling well. It started out with a sore throat, then I started loosing my voice, This continued along with congestion and a stuffy/runny nose (the worst) and finally today I have COMPLETELY lost my voice! It kind of took my kids by surprise when all I could do is lip to them to get up and get ready for school! Hazel and Myles went with me to the doctor. I whisper to Hazie what I want to say and she carries on the conversation. Many of the receptionists thought that this was the cutest thing. She has also been answering the phone for me and translating what I lip to her. Most people just laugh. I am so greatful for her!! This sucks!! I feel helpless! The doctor gave me a HUGE shot of antibiotics so hopefully in a couple of days I can yell again. Things just aren't the same around here. It deffinetly makes me take a step back and evaluate how I speak to my kids. Anyhoo....Funny thing happened at the doctor office. We were in the waiting room. Hazel was bored. She went over to look at the childrens books. She came stomping over with a very mad, disturbed look on her face. She blurted out.....Mom, look the doctor STOLE our book!! Why did he do that? I am going to go tell him that stealing is wrong. As she stomped off toward the doctor I grabbed her. I just had to laugh and try to lip the best that I could that they make more than one copy of a book and people buy them. This one was not ours. She was relieved. Too Cute!!

My little man...

Myles is truly my little man....a mama's boy in every sense of the word. I love it!! He is such a great addition to our family. I can't believe it has been a year since he came into our lifes. His B-day was March 16th. He still isn't walking, but he sure can crawl! He is a very snuggly, shy, sweet baby. (I should say little boy.)
He loves to play catch with his dad, play cars, talk jibberish, and eat. I love you Myles and I am looking forward to many adventures with you!

6 already!!??

Sorry this is soooo late! I finally had a chance to sit down and think about last month today so I am going to play catch up before I forget.
Megan turned 6 March 6th. She is growing up so fast!!!! She is in kindergarden and hates every moment. (and loves to make is miserable for the teacher as well!) It is hard to believe that she was only 10 months old when Scott and I started dating. Time sure does fly. She is the one that keeps me on my toes. Life is never boring with Megs around. She is so full of life and curiousity! She is my football player. She doesn't mess around when it comes to knocking off the competition. I love her with all my heart. I wouldn't trade her for the world. I love you Meggie moo cow!!!

A Masters Program

So I am sitting in class feeling every last bit of life drain from my brain! We have been sitting here for about 5 hours listenting to each other present useless information in Power Point! I will be so glad when this crap is over! One more hour until Shannon's B-Day...See ya there!

Poodle skirt

Last week my neighbor, Karen, came over and asked me if I could make her a poodle skirt for a 50's day school activity. I hesitently accepted. This was a first for me. I have sewn quilts, but the idea of sewing clothes terrified me. I told her I would try but I couldn't guarantee anything. I cut it out and got it put together in a day! I was proud of the outcome even though it wasn't perfect. She was excited and even got asked to dance during the assembly.

Hazie is offically 4!!!

Hazel turned 4 years old on Febuary 27, 2008. We celebrated first by having her favorite dinner....pancakes. Scott of course couldn't have a regular sized one, he had to have what he liked to call a mancake...It took up the whole plate...
with chocolate chips of course. We had some neighbors and my parents over for cake and presents. she got a new dress and a wand to match, a deigo v smile game and lots of money to go into her "disneyland fund". We ate cake and then danced. It was a good night.
